Student Testimonials

Prior to moving to New Mexico, I lived in Laredo, Texas for about a year. My coach in Laredo (Efrain Galindo/Liberty Soccer Club) recommended I train with David Dinh when given the opportunity. I got the opportunity to train with David in July 08 for about a week, ''WOW'' WHAT AN EYE OPENER!!! My first tennis ball session was a disaster. I had never seen or heard that type of drill before. After my training sessions with David, I would return to my motel room and practice with my tennis ball on the kitchen floor tile. Thanks to David's motivation skills I was able to bounce and control the tennis ball easy. I had the opportunity to sit and talk with David after some afternoon training sessions. I was amazed about how determined he is to make you a better soccer player. On a long day when I just feel like lying around the house not doing anything, I could hear David's voice telling me "THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE". Therefore I get motivated and practice hard with my tennis or soccer ball. I want to take this opportunity to thank Forza Campiones, Julian (At Cedar Park), and Brooke Hepfer for making me feel part of the Forza family. Special thanks to David Dinh for taking the time to work with me and help me become the soccer player I am today.

Adela Trevino, 96 New Mexico ODP, 13 years old, Rush Soccer Club, Alamogordo, New Mexico

"From the first time I stepped foot on Forza grounds, I knew that it was going to be a promising experience. David Dinh's training is refreshingly different, while always having an intense practice, he is still able to create an inviting and extremely fun atmosphere. David's training has improved not only my foot skills, but mentally I feel more focused and determined than ever."

Carmela Doerr, Academy of Art Univeristy, 91 STYSA ODP (Alternate), 91 Lonestar Red (Premier)

"My name is Jacob and I have been at Forza for about two and a half months. Although it may seem like a short time, going to Forza has made me better in so many ways. We work on our foot and agility skills here. The things we do are challenging, but they are fun and very rewarding. We also do a lot of different kinds of training. If you want a challenge I would recommend Forza because here you definitely learn a lot."

     Jacob Yarnell, 9 years old

"Hi my name is Walker Hume, I have been training for a little over two years. Over these past few years David has taught me more foot skills, and improved my touch. I am able to take my game to the next levels. I have made many life long friendships here at Forza. There are lots of drills with the tennis balls, like trapping, tapping, and shooting. We work a lot on the quickness of our feet so we can get out of tight situations on the field. This also improves my level in small sided games like 3v3’s.

I have had had lots of fun at Forza. I look forward to coming to train each and every day! David has overall improved my game, and I would recommend David to any dedicated soccer player. "

Walker Hume, 14 years old, 94 Lonestar Red South (Premier, 2003-2005 STYSA State Champions)

"WOW!! David Dinh has taught me so much for the time I have been coming to Forza Campiones. He has helped me develop as a player in every area. The first time I came to Forza, I had a blast. I was stunned when I saw little kids doing step overs and Maradonas. My favorite drill is the boxes, because they help your coordination and speed. All of the other Forza coaches are very well qualified. Peter and Tristain are very good.. Forza is a perfect place to work hard and have fun. I love Forza Campeones. David Dinh is the best coach!! "

Tucker Hume, 14 years old, 94 Lonestar Red South (Premier, 2003-2005 STYSA State Champions)

"It’s hard to explain how Forza and David mean to me. When I went with David the first time, I saw how dedicated David is with soccer. David has put his time and effort to help his soccer players grow. He also showed every single one of his soccer players young or old how life really is. David is doing his best in every practice to make us better soccer players and I feel sure and confident that I have somebody that teaches me what I need to know. I know that with David, I can accomplish many things with him and that’s why David is and will continue to be my Soccer Freak Idol forever. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!! DAVID DINH, SIMPLY THE BEST"

Maria Fernanda Duarte, 10 years old

"My name is Michael Lam. I have been training with David for a little over a year. I have improved incredibly since David started training me. All the drills they teach you will be very hard and tiresome, but they will teach you so many skills. My favorite one is the bending drill, bending the ball around the wall (BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM).

After each practice you will be stressed out, but at the end you will know that you have been taken another step closer to your lifetime goal. David will push you over the limit to feel how it will be at the next level.

David is a very serious coach because he does not fool around. If you want to be at your best at soccer then you should come and train with David. David is the best coach I have ever had!!!"

     Michael Lam, 97 Lonestar Red

"Daaaaaaavvvvvvvvvvvviiiiiiiiiddd is the nuttiest coach and the best coach at the same time. He teaches you soooo much but you have fun and feel no awkwardness like with some coaches. He has a lot of experience and has created a lot of excellent players. I have learned sooo much from David. He has so many tricks up his sleeve and loves sharing them with you. So if you would like to improve, and there is always room to improve, then David is the guy to go to."

Elizabeth Slaughter, 13 years old, AU Caps Navy (D1)

"I’ve only worked with David Dinh for a few sessions but in those sessions I’ve learned more then I have in my past two years of club. David is really gifted when it comes to coaching. He has so much passion and experience that he easily teaches his players how to learn and perfect skills. When I have trouble with a move he patiently helps me until I get it right. Not only is David Dinh a fantastic coach, he’s also a really nice person that cares about each and everyone of his players no matter what skill level or age they’re at."

Emma Thompson, 15 years old, AU Caps Navy (D1)

"David, I know I haven't trained with you much, but at the summer camps and sessions i have done with you, I have really had fun and learned a lot. You have taught me things that none of my coaches ever have, and I have learned so much in the little time I have spent training with you. I feel my improvement as a technical and physical soccer player and I know I have the potential to improve tremendously if i continue training with you. Hopefully when I return from my stay in South America next semester in January I will have the privilege to continue training with you!"

Maggie Arrellaga, 13 years old, AU Caps Blue (D1)

"As my second summer to train with David Dinh I can say that my skills have improved. I learn at least one new thing everyday, but usually more. David Dinh is an enjoyable coach and a great teacher. He knows where your level is and what you need to learn to succeed. He has helped me become a better player and is continuing to do so."

Riley Cunningham, 12 years old, AU Caps Navy (D1)

"I really like David's camps. This is my second summer to participate. He teaches us a lot in a fun way. He doesnt' just sit in a chair and tell us things. He shows us with lots of demonstrations. I've learned a lot about how to pass correctly, how to possess the ball better, how to open up an area. David also has shown me some tricks to use on opponents for both offense and defense. The other good thing is that the training is indoors so instead of being outside in the heat, we are okay inside. The best part is that I have used lots of what I have learned, including certain moves, on the field."

Isabel Arrellaga, 13 Years Old, AU Caps Navy (D1)

"I’ve been training at Forza with David Dinh for a little over a year now, and It has been quite the experience. Hard work, the right attitude, amazing coaching and a perfect environment have been just the ticket to help me reach my dreams. A year ago at this time I was in the 91 Girls ODP Regional Pool. As of now, I’m in the 91 Girls ODP National Pool.

Going into Forza everyday I see kids eager to learn, and ready to apply themselves. There are also smiles everywhere; everyone manages to still have fun during a tough session with David. David Dinh and the other coaches at Forza are all some of the best coaches I have come across in 9 years of playing soccer. David is not only a great coach, but a very special, great person. He has the ability to be a great coach, and a friend to kids of all ages.

Forza has everything to create perfect soccer learning environment. Even if a kid is looking for somewhere to have a good time and make friends, Forza is just the place. I plan on continuing to train with David, developing more skills and knowledge in soccer. "

Nora Skelton, Texas A&M, U-16 Women National Team, US National Pool, Region III ODP Team, State ODP Team, 91 Lonestar Red (Premier)

"My name is Erik Ver Schuur and have been training with David Dinh for just under 2 months. I have learned more in the first month than I’ve learned in the past 3 years. Before I started to train with David, I was just the big fast kid, you know, one of those mediocre soccer players, however that is changing. These first few WEEKS I have learned how to do headers, shoot, balance, and improve my one on one skills. There’s just too many things to count. David, I can’t thank you enough for teaching me all I know now. Because of you I went from the ok defender to the starting forward of my team. With all of this training my passion for the game has grown even more. David Dinh is truly and honestly a miracle worker. I really am aiming to go premier and I’m sure that David can help me get there."

Erik Ver Schuur, 15 Years old, Dallas Texans Austin Red (D1)

"I like David because he is a fantastic trainer and is very funny while he's training. And even though we have to train hard and serious, we have a lot of fun doing it! David teaches us new techniques and if you make a mistake in practice David will cheer you up, he will take you aside and teach you in an easier way. My favorite training session was when we had to shoot over dummies heads and the tennis balls. David is a guy you can trust and have fun with when it comes to soccer.

Thank you David."

Fernando Mercado Jr. (Rico Suave), 12 Years old, 2007 South Texas U-13 ODP, 95 Dallas Texans Austin Red (D1)

"Forza is unlike any other training environment you will find. Through the ten or so years I have played soccer I’ve been at a lot of camps, and had a number of coaches work with me to help me improve. David and the environment he provides at Forza is by far the most upbeat.

What I found the most surprising about Forza when I first went was that everyone had these amazing attitudes about soccer. The kids constantly wanted to go out on the field and improve. I was just shocked at how they could go day after day, month after month waking up early and giving up weekends just to play soccer when they already got so much of it through club. But then I realized that David’s attitude and love for the game is what made Forza and the kids who train there so different. At Forza training is no longer a pain. Somehow, even during the harder sessions, I ended up having fun.

My skills have improved drastically. I am so much more comfortable on the ball and I’m not afraid of being in a difficult situation while playing, because I know I can get myself out of it. David sees potential in all of us.

Some of us have to work harder then others. My first tennis ball session was terrible. I was one of the oldest, but I’m pretty sure I was worse then everyone at it. I didn’t give up though. I went home that night, grabbed a tennis ball, and bounced it with the soles of my feet until I could finally do at least thirty in a row. Normally I would have never done that. I would have just given up. But I guess I came home that day from Forza with a new attitude. I have yet to meet someone who has come to Forza and not left with a better attitude or more confidence."

Lindsay Euers, Trinity University, South Texas ODP, Lonestar 91 (Premier)

"My name is Josh Euers and I’ve been training with David for about a half a year. Although my time there has been short the people around me and I have easily seen the results of David’s intense training sessions.

Before I began coming to Forza I was not that excited about playing soccer. Once I came to David for the first time this summer my passion and love for the game grew tremendously. The main thing I noticed was my technical and ball skills had become much better. With my new found ball skills I became more and more confident about taking on players and not always just booming the ball out of bounds.

David has taught me loads of new skills from doing very creative drills that actually help. David has helped me become a better player on and off the field, and if you want to strive for perfection in your soccer career, GO TO DAVID! "

Josh Euers, 12 years old, 95 Dallas Texans Austin Red (D1)

"My name is Abraham Lopez I have been training with David 3 years. I have learned a lot over the years like technical, balance, foot speed and coordination. The thing I like most is working on tennis balls. The fun thing is playing other kids of different ages and training with them. We do drills that really make you work hard such as the boxes. From the past years David has motivated me to go to the next level and to not give up. The way he motivates is making kids try harder. I like working on the cool moves he has taught me. I am so glad that he has been such a great trainer to me and my brothers. David thank you for all the time you have spent to make me better."

Abraham Lopez, 12 years old, 95 Lonestar Red (D1)

"My name is Isaac Lopez I have been training with David for four years. David has helped me with my soccer skills over the years. Training with David has motivated me to push myself to the limit. We do several drills, like the boxes, ropes, and ladders which help you speed, agility, and acceleration. Other drills help you with technique, balance, coordination, and foot speed. What makes it really fun to train with David, is the competition between all the age groups that come to David. It’s also fun to work on my skills that I have learned with the older players. Training with David over the past years has motivated me to move to the next level. I’m so thankful for finding David as my trainer, thank you David for being there for me."

Isaac Lopez, 13 years old, 94 Lonestar Red South (Premier)

"My name is Paige Piland. I have trained with David for 6 years. Only a miracle could get me as far as I am today and that miracle is David. Before, I was just a player on the field now I’m going to try out for ODP. I plan to make it but not just that I plan to be a starter. The only way this could happen is if you train with the miracle maker David. David is a miracle maker."

Paige Piland, 13 years old, 94 Lonestar Red South (D1)

"I remember how I used to play before I came to Forza- almost 100% focus on speed and strength and very little attention to technical skill. I had always been the strongest and the fastest on any of the teams I had ever played for- and my strategy was if I could outrun them I could beat them. Mistakes with my touch could always be made up for with sheer speed. I was the best player on my team- but I still had A LOT to improve.

Then as I got older I injured my knee and had to sit out for 7 months (the longest and worst period of my life), and one of the doctors messed up the alignment in my feet and I lost a little of my speed. After I recovered and started playing again I was still the fastest- but I was not as fast I was before. Some mistakes I used to be able to "run-off" would now result in a turnover. Then my coach Manuel set me up with David Dinh.

As I pulled up to Forza for the first time, I was extremely nervous. I had heard that this "David" coached very high end ODP players and was extremely technical. What if I played badly on the first day and was denied training due to a bad first impression? I knew that if I played well, I would be allowed to stay.

When I walked into the training ground and met David-much to my relief- the first thing I noticed was how he was EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. He showed me around the complex (which is TIGHT by the way), and then took me into his office to ask me the basic questions. One of the things I remember most about that first day is when I answered one of his questions with "yes sir", and he laughed and said something along the lines of "ha dude you don't need to call me sir". I remember that for some reason that relaxed me a lot.

After that the rest of the first day is blurry to me. But I kept coming back, until it became almost daily. The training was/is AMAZING- for the first time david taught me the importance of technical skill and how speed and strength is useless without it. DAVID REALLY CARES FOR EACH OF HIS PLAYERS AND DOES HIS BEST TO HELP THEM REACH THEIR GOALS, HE LOVES SOCCER AND IS PASSIONATE ABOUT IT(JUST LIKE ANYBODY INVOLVED IN THE GAME SHOULD BE), HE IS INCREDIBLE AT BREAKING DOWN TECHNIQUES AND HELPING THE PLAYERS MASTER THEM, AND HE IS THE KIND OF COACH EVERY PLAYER SERIOUS ABOUT SOCCER NEEDS.

I know for a fact that many of the players attending his camp play for high ODP teams like regional and national. In fact, I recently found out that I made the 92 state ODP cut (and I'm a 93 which makes it an even bigger deal) - and I owe a lot of it to his training. He has helped me reach the first step towards my dream- being the best player of all time and forever and going down as a legend. The next round of cuts for ODP is in January (it is December when I am writing this), so I am going to go back and train with David over Christmas break, because he knows what I need to do in order to make the cut.

He has played a HUGE role in my development as a player (and many other players), he's helped me reach the first step towards my dream, and HE IS ONE OF THE BEST COACHES I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH AND PROBABLY EVER WILL."

Rob Thompson, 14 years old, Lonestar Red (Premier)

"My name is Joshua Garcia and I’ve been training with David Dinh for a year and a half. David is a very great friend off the field but on the field he is all business. He makes you do drills with tennis balls as well as many other drills. My favorite is a shooting drill. At the end of every practice, you will sweat like crazy but you know that you have accomplished a lot. He has also brought my soccer skills to a much better level. David pushes you however much you want to be pushed to reach your goals. It has been a great experience training with him. He is the best coach I have ever had!!"

Joshua Garcia, 10 years old, 97 Lonestar Red South (D1)

"David has taught me a lot; but there are six things that helped me the most. David gave me lots of confidence and helped me in a way not to be shy. I’ve gotten more friends there. He strengthened my technique and my ball skills. He has made me stronger in many different ways. My endurance is more stable so I can last longer and reduces the chance of injury."

Skyler Willcockson, 12 years old, 95 Dallas Texans Austin Red (D1)

"If you are looking for a coach that is encouraging and teaches you everything you need to know to be a great player, David is your coach. He teaches you passing and technical work and tactics like corners, throw-ins and free kicks. He also does footwork with boxes and tennis balls. He will also introduce juggling the soccer ball to you. All the people I know that trained with David are much better at what I mentioned above than they were when they started. Their attitude got much better so it is more fun to be around them. I hope you will sign up for David’s training with Forza Campiones and learn all the things I named."

     Jimmy Struble, 10 years old

"When I first came to train with David, I was pretty burnt out on soccer. That is all my life was and I was not sure if I wanted to add any more of it to my already soccer-packed schedule. After one session with David, my whole perspective had changed. I couldn’t get enough soccer! I wanted to sign up for sessions any moment I had free, when I was not there I was thinking about all the things he had taught me and how I could put them into my game. I remember how nervous I was before my first session. I watched his students performing these incredible moves with such ease that I was sure I would never be able to do. As soon as I set foot on his field, David treated me like we had known each other forever. He had such confidence in me that I strived to prove that I was worthy to be on one of his teams. After only a couple months of training with David, my soccer has reached heights that I never would have dreamed possible. Not only has my playing improved, but my passion for the game has never been stronger. Without David, I never would have made it this far and had the determination to go farther. David reminded me of the reason I play soccer and why I love it so much. Without David, soccer would not be the same."

Lauren Peterson, Southern Methodist University, South Texas ODP, 91 AU Caps Navy

"I have been training with David for a year now. What I really like about working with him is that he takes an interest in your situation and he sets very high expectations. The best part is that he teaches great techniques and moves to live up to those expectations. David has tremendous enthusiasm and love for the game of soccer and it spills over into his training sessions."

     Christina Pensock, 12 years old

"I have trained with David Dinh for about five years and my passion for the game has only grown. My technical game is what has set me apart from other players and I have David to thank for that. David has also helped me develop mental toughness. He once told me “The power of the mind is an incredible thing, one that can never be underestimated”. This saying has carried me though my years playing competitive soccer. I will never forget this. To be a great soccer player you must truly love the game. You must love the culture, the skills required, the physicality required, the equipment, and the passion it creates within players. Oh and you must never give up. This is the perfect description of David. That is what makes him such a wonderful trainer. I could have never made the Lonestars top team, the ODP state team, the Regional team, or the National pool without David. It is truly a blessing that he took me in and treated me like family. I strongly suggest that you come train with David. You will be missing out on an awesome opportunity that may not come again."

Jessica Rightmer, Auburn Univeristy, 2006 and 2007 South Texas ODP, 2006 Region III Team, 2005 U-14 ODP National Pool Player, 91 Lonestar Red (Premier)

"My name is Kelsey Rightmer and I have been training with David for about 5 years so far. From the beginning David has took me under his wing and helped me succeed. With out David I could have never made it for the lonestars, or made the ODP state team. David has taught me so much. He has taught me the technical part of soccer, physical and mental parts to. Not only that, he has shown me the passion one can have for the game. David is an inspiration to all soccer lovers and a awesome trainer. David has helped so many kids so far climb to the top, and it is just the beginning for him. There will me a whole bunch more kids in the future that he will help succeed. David is Awesome!!!"

Kelsey Rightmer, 13 years old, 2006 and 2007 South Texas ODP, 93 Lonestar White (D1)

"I have only been training with David Dinh for a while and I enjoy it. I have already seen a difference in my game. He has, also, changed my passion for the game. I used to think of soccer as work, now I look forward to coming to train each and every day! I am able to take my game to the next levels. He motivates me to keep on going and never give up! He knows what you are able to do on the soccer field and he expects you to do your best. That is one of the many qualities of him! We work hard but it is very fun at the same time! I will DEFINITELY still come back to train with him in the future! THANK YOU, David."

Emily Sura, 11 years old, 94 Lonestar Red (D1)

"David is one of the best trainers I have ever been to. Every one that goes to him has seen a difference in their game including me. David has changed the way I look at soccer I used to look at it as work and practice always being boring. Now I'm always looking forward to it and wanting to come back. He motivates us to do the best we can do. Now I'm able to take soccer to the next level ever time a take a step on the field. I'm am glad that one of David qualities is to never give up on the kids, I don't think I would be able to play the way I play now. Thank you David for training me and never giving up on me. Thanks David for every thing! "

Erin Inman, 12 years old, 2006 South Texas U13 ODP

"When I first came to David my passion for the game was vast but not as much as it could be. David motivated me to be the best and to train hard. Since I was 8, my foot speed has amplified, and my love for the game has deeply enhanced. I am very confident of making the ODP team. As a coach, David will work with you to be the best and it will show in the game. David has immense goals for his students. Every day he will push you to the next level. Every one in the group is very devoted, dedicated, and keen. David owns an indoor place where I look forward to coming to practice every day at 6:00 in the morning. I used to think that soccer was just a sport were you dribble past defenders and kick the ball into the goal but David helped me understand that there are spectacular movements you can do with and without the ball. David conditions, and can tweak your child's technique. If your child comes to David he/she will be ONE of the best, or THE best on his or her team."

Brooke Hepfer, U-15 US Womens National Team, 2006-2009 South Texas ODP, 2007 ODP Regional Team, 2007 National Camp, 94 Lonestar Red (Premier)

"Coach David is a wonderful coach! He's helped me improve in all of my soccer skills and has pushed me to my full limit so I can go as far as I want to go in soccer. He's the first coach that has ever inspired me to try to become an ODP. Player. HE'S THE BEST SOCCER FREAK COACH I EVER HAD!"

Grayson Manfredo, 11 years old, 96 Lonestar Red (D1)

"Forza-Campiones soccer school is a great place to learn to play soccer. The trainer David is strict but nice. He has led some kids to the Olympic development program known as ODP. It is fun at Forza-Campiones soccer school, we watch movies after lunch, and we play pool, play ping-pong, and play Playstation 2 and soccer related games. During training we do soccer drills play scrimmages coordination drills and conditioning drills. I really enjoyed the school because the trainer makes it fun. I learned many things from Forza-Campiones soccer school not just soccer but to respect one another. Thank you for your time in reading this letter."

     Joel Viladeres, 12 years old

"Dear David, I like your soccer training because you teach us many technical and physical skils. You give us a lot of challenges but you help us accomplish them by helping us step by step. I'm so busy at home and everywhere else that your training is like a break to me. Other girls on my team and I agree that we absolutely positively love your training. I won't be surprised when I become a professional with you as my coach. I've seen you take your other students very far and I know you'll do the same for me. On our practice days I can't wait to get out of school so I can go to practice. Before each practice I'm very excited because each practice is very different and very challenging."

Sandra Lopez, 10 years old, Georgetown Force

"David is not only the best coach I have ever had, he also is an outstanding soccer player. He is solely responsible for making me into a great player. Before I started training with David I was on the verge of being cut from the team. After training with David for only a little while, I was voted team captain and helped lead our team to state that following season. Our team was able to go to state, because of David's focus on one-on-one moves. Any player on our team could beat their opponent one on one, which created numerous scoring opportunities. David's "Don't practice, practice perfect" attitude and ability to teach players helped make each one of our players better. David cared for us more than any other coach because he treated us like family."

     Spencer Miles, 13 years old

"You have been a great coach/trainer. I have learned so many things from you. I have become a better player and person since you have been my coach. I am glad that you were my coach for 2 years, they were the best! I strongly recommend for everyone to go to David's training and camps."

     Gabe Martinez, 13 years old

"David has been a good friend to my brother and me. We met David about a year ago when our high school soccer coach took him to train us. He took a younger girl out there and she humiliated most of my teammates. In the past year I have seen improvement on all aspects of my game. My stamina has really improved dramatically and passion for the game. David has the ability to unlock the potential inside and make you want to go out each time no matter if its just practice and go out and perform at 110 percent. You feel a change in the love of the sport. David is a dedicated man and I feel like me and my brother are lucky to have met him, we had the chance to get coached by him and maybe someday we will play next to him. He never gives up on you. If you really want to raise your game to the next level I would recommend David as your trainer. He knows what he is talking about. Because of him I now feel like I have a chance to one day make it professionally due to the expectations he has on his players. He has trained girls and boys that have made it to the ODP level, Olympic Development Program, so that says a lot about him. My brother and I see David as our older brother. He has the ability to mold you and make you a more disciplined soccer player."

     Jorge Segovia, 15 Years Old

"David, Jordan wrote this poem about you for a school assignment. I thought it was pretty cool - you have had a dramatic impact on him! Thanks for being so special. Laura Burton. Here is the poem:

During the middle of my season
I started playing bad for no reason
I started to slump down
Whiffing balls and falling on the ground
Kicking and whiffing all over the place
I even kicked some people in the face
I was getting furious and mad
Screaming "Why, why am I so BAD!??"

That's when I met a really cool trainer
Ya, David Dinh - he's my savior
To him I am "GQ" and "Bling bling"
but to me he has taught me so many things
He got me back into my groove
Taught me cool tricks and moves
I've seen a huge improvement in my game
from the beginning to the last day that I came
The last day I went was just a few days ago
I don't think I'll ever leave, cause David is my bro

Jordan Williams, Standford University, 16 years old

"I love going to David Dinh’s soccer practice. He has pushed me to my highest potential, in foot speed, coordination, and ball touch………… my foot and ball-handling skills are becoming unbelievable. Even though I am the youngest on my select team, my skills have become equal with the others. The quality of training with other trainers that I have had does not compare to what I experience with David. I feel that he gives all of the players that he is surrounded by great love and respect. He is a true “Soccer Freak” and it rubs off on others…like me :)"

     Callie Smith, 10 years old

"Coach David is an awesome coach! He is one of the first coaches that made practice fun and educational all at the same time. He brings out the best in me. He pushes me and makes me want to give 110%. He never gives up on me no matter what. He is always encouraging me to keep trying when I don't get it right the first time. He has taught me to never give up! All that he has taught me has helped me become a better field player and most of all a better goalkeeper!

Thanks Coach David, for everything."

     Jace Fontenot, Age 12

Hi, I’m Nicole Gardini and I’ve been going to Forza Championes for almost 3 months. In the short time that I’ve been training with David, I have become a better player, not only physically, but mentally too. David helps me with my specific needs and gives special attention to everyone. David Dinh pushes me to work my hardest and I have improved my game immensely. If you are looking for something extra or you want to improve your soccer game, I strongly suggest you go to David Dinh.

     Nicole Gardini, Lonestar 95 Red

"I like Coach David because he makes me better at soccer by teaching me good stuff like how to not let the defenders get the ball. He is good at explaining how to do good soccer stuff. I have a good time learning good soccer moves from him."

     Breanna Portillo, age 6

"I really like working with Coach David because he has a lot of patience when he trains us. He knows a lot about soccer and helps us with our weaknesses. I think he has made me a stronger player mentally and physically. I doubt that I could have ever gotten this far at this age without his help. I hope I get to have Coach David as a coach for a long time because he is an awesome soccer coach!"

Daniel Portillo, 12 years old, 95 Lonestar Red South (D1)

"David Dinh, the best trainer I’ve ever worked with! David trains hard but always has fun. He will motivate you to do your absolute best and always encourages you to keep trying. David makes sure to compliment you if you do something awesome, and he will always offer great helpful advice if your not quite sure how to do it! David has helped me so much I can’t thank him enough. He works on everything you need to improve on, and if you’re not lazy and you have the love for soccer, he will never give up on you! So if you want to become the absolute best soccer player you can be, I highly suggest you try training with David. You will see quick improvement in everything you do on the soccer field and you won’t be sorry!"

Christie Hinojosa, 14 years old, 93 Lonestar Red (Premier)

"At six o’clock in the morning, most kids my age are still dreaming away. I am not one of those kids, but I don’t envy them one bit because I have somewhere I would much rather be. I would rather be training with David at Forza Campiones. Even though I have been training with David a short time, I have noticed an enormous change in my level of play. When I realized that I wanted to be a serious soccer player and advance to the next level, David Dinh helped me get started. I had never realized there was so much to learn in the game of soccer, but I knew that training with David would prepare me for anything.

If you want to get to the next level, I strongly suggest that you be here. Here you will learn SO much (I know I have, and I have just started), not just in soccer, but in life as well. After the first week of training, I noticed an immediate improvement in my game. I was more aggressive and more confident.

I had started to get “soccer burnout” before I came to David’s, but now when my alarm clock goes off in the morning, I don’t hit the snooze anymore because I know I will have a blast training, and on top of that, I will be improving as a player.

Training with David has taught me SO much, but even more than that, I have had an amazing time. Here, you will learn to love the game."

Rachel Lenz, 2006 and 2007 South Texas ODP, 2007 Regional Pool, 2006 National Camp, 91 Lonestar Red (Premier)

"I appreciate everything that you did for me and my game, the first time I met you was at pflugerville highschool in some training session and I remember a couple things. One you were very direct. Another thing was that you obviously knew what you were doing, at that time you were by far the best soccer player I had ever seen play, and you still could be the best that I know, and last but not least you told all of us to never call you coach and always call you David. All of these things made me establish a strong sense of respect for you and now, seven years later, I still have that respect. [I wouldn't write this for just anyone... I don't even write for my english teacher] In retro-spect you are the best coach/trainer I've had, best coach/trainer in austin, best in Texas, and right behind Rafael Benitez as the best in the world."

     Brett Sura

Hi, my name is Lindsey De La Rosa, and I have been training with David for about 5 years. Honestly, David is the BEST trainer I have ever had. Every time I train with David I always learn something new. I will always remember the day when I first started doing tennis balls and boxes. I was so slow, while all the other kids were fast. After that training session I made my mom buy me a tennis ball so I could practice. And be as fast as all the other kids. If you went to David Dinh’s Forza Campiones training just for one week, in that one week you would already see an improvement. And you WILL see that improvement in the game. If you ever want to pick your game up or get better at technical, coordination, and balance. I highly recommend that you choose David Dinh as your soccer trainer. He could probably improve anything you tell him to. I am LUCKY to have David Dinh as my trainer and my family’s closest friend. He always cares about the kids he trains. And he will do whatever it takes to get them to the next level where they need to be. THANK YOU, David for teaching me everything that I know.

Lindsey De La Rosa, 13 years old, Lonestar 95 Red (D1)

I liked how David have his senior players came and demonstrated for us on how to trap the ball.  We did the tennis ball and it made me a better player and I thank you for teaching me a lot of good fun stuff.

Avete Harland, 12 years old (San Antonio)

It was a great camp and I enjoyed practicing with the tennis balls, the passing drills. I can tell that I improved more during this week of camp. I am hoping that I can use these drills to help me on the field. Thank you for the training session this week and I hope that in the future we can go to more camps.

Braulio Adam, 9 yrs old, 98 Classic Elite DI

I liked the Forza camp because we worked on our touch and passing skills. The different activities we did were fun, but also helped with our skills and conditioning. I think the camp was GREAT, next time I would like to have more scrimmages.

Jacob McDonald, 11 years old (San Antonio)

I liked the Forza camp because I learned a lot of stuff, like passing 3 balls. The tennis balls was hard but David was right, my thighs hurt everyday. David was a good trainer.

Joel Martinez, 8 years old (San Anotnio)

I thought the camp was very difficult and challenging. I learned a lot of new tricks and got better on my foot work. I also enjoyed the one on one. I enjoyed the tennis ball drill. I think it helped me with my ball control. I think that David and Julian are great trainers and great people.

Josh Avilla, 10 years old, 98 Forza (White) DI, (San Antonio)

Thanks for helping me learn and improve more in soccer. I was very happy when my Dad told me about the camp. The tennis balls were a little hard but I got the hang of it. The moves that you taught us on Thursday were very tricky but I will keep practicing until I get it. Once again thanks for your help and please tell Coach Julian thanks also.

“Little” David, 10 years old (San Antonio)

David’s Forza camps are very hard. The camp is 5 full days. But once it is over, it pays off. I like the tennis balls and the ladder drills that we do. If you see David do the tennis balls, ladder or tricks, you can’t even see his feet. He is very smart, too. I bet you, you will never meet another coach like him. Some of the people who get trained by him are already on the National Team. When I first came to Forza, I was not as good as I am right now. I met a lot of good friends here.

Juan Pablo Ortiz, 10 years old, 98 Forza (white) DI

My experience at the Forza Summer camp was very good. I learned many new things. I loved the tennis ball sessions because I had never done that or even thought of doing that before. The coaches made sure we were disciplined, which I like. The different drills helped me become a better soccer player. If you want to learn great soccer from top-class coaches, I would definitely attend this camp again.

Owen Tuttle, 11 years old (Corpus Christi)

The Forza camp was fun, sometimes I didn’t want to go because I was pushed to my limit. After Wednesday I really did not want to miss a second. I liked the camp because the drills were fun. I like the ladder, speed and agility drills, because I was the fastest. I have never gone that fast through the ladder. I LOVED THE CAMP!

Sam Perez, 11 years old, SA Hammers DI (San Antonio)

I enjoyed the practice with Coach David all week. I have learned a lot in 5 days. I thank you for the dedicating your time to us.

Valentin Torres, 98 Forza (White) DI, (San Antonio)

I think the Forza camp was good, because it helped me with my foot skills. I liked it when we played the tennis balls. I also had a lot of fun playing “Chicken”.

Zach Nega, 11 years old (San Antonio)

I liked the tennis ball drills and the passing with the two balls. The ladder, speed and agility, was fun. Nothing needed to be improved. It was Awesome.

Noah B. Coll, 11 years old (San Antonio)

My experience in this camp was one of the most amazing thing that I have been through. I learned so much in so little time. Coach David would work more one technique, while coach Julian would work on the physical training. They were both very talented and intelligent. When I came into this camp, I was excited, but nervous at the same time. Excited because I knew I was going to learn new things, and nervous because I didn’t want to look bad. Both coaches kept challenging me, and that only improved my game more and more. My favorite drill was when Coach David was teaching us how to shoot. After my experience at this camp, I now know I have much more to learn about the game.

Alexi Santamaria, 14 years old, (San Antonio)

I thank you David and Julian for training me and my team. Cuando nos practica me alegra en los 5 dias me gustaron y pendi mucho lo que quiero. A pender es el tennis ball you quiero las piernas muy Fuertes y yo quiero aser un professional en futbol.

Antonio Juarez, 11 years old (San Antonio)

My experience during the week was great! I learned a lot of things and had lots of fun. You really showed us things that we did not know. I got better on my shots and improved on more things. I really like the drills we did and all the technique and physical training. I know everything we did will pay off in the games and will improve my game. It was a really fun week and thank you for everything. I really want to play with Forza I know it is going to be a great season.

Brandon Rarraza, 14 years old (San Antonio)

My experience in this whole week of training was wonderful.  I learned how to protect the ball with my body and give more time to myself, and how to lock the player with the ball.  David would train us more on technique like how to align your body and how to kick the ball with just one step.  And Coach Julian would coach us more on physical like running and more stuff like that.  You two are awesome coaches and very experienced.  This camp was fun and Awesome.  GO FORZA!

Carlos Montiel, 14 years old (San Antonio)

The camp was hard and challenging. And it was FUN, you guys taught me a lot.

Jake “AKA” Shevchenco, 10 years old

Ustedes eran los mejores coach que a tenido en mi vida y me gusta como juegan aprendi muchas cosas de ustedes penesa quiero estar otra vez con ustedes.

Joel Juarez, 8 years old (San Antonio)

Well just wanted to say that this training with you was a blast I had so much fun and wow I learned so much.  This experience was fun and educational.  Most of things you taught in practice I had never been taught or seen before.  The training was also a little difficult at first but we increased the skill and the difficulty of the training got easier.  Oh and I forgot to mention the girls they were really talented and real pretty and thanks for bringing them.  They were fun and real cool.  Julian that trainer is real cool and real talented.  Hope to still keep training with you and I am forward to play for Forza.

Ivan Jaramillo, 14 years old (San Antonio)

Thanks for all the hard work you have done for us. I really learned a lot from you. It really helped me a lot. You are a cool coach, even though you still make us do pushups and sit-ups. I liked your drills during all week long. I play defense and I like how to taught us how to protect the ball. So my experience in this whole week was awesome and wonderful. At the first day of practicing I thought you were going to be mean to us, but nah you are a very cool, and awesome coach. Both Julian and David are so talented in soccer. They have a lot of technique.

Juan Juarez, 14 years old (San Antonio)

What I think about the camp was that I had fun these 5 days. I learned a lot by, coach David and coach Julian. David and Julian were really talented. They taught us how to pass, dribble, juggle, shot hard, and listen. It was hard work, but still I had fun.

Juan Sebastian Santamaria, 10 years old (San Antonio)

I really had fun at the Forza camp. I learned new things like “Locking in” on defense, to look at the players foot then ball then back at the foot when passing. I learned to “Snap a Picture in your head”. The most fun was learning to train with the tennis ball. I also like that Coach David is very demanding and uses the word “unacceptable” when teaching a new skill. I also like that we were focused entirely on soccer but had fun without a bunch of baby sitting or running like other camps. Thanks for coming to San Antonio.

     Kristian Compton, 97 Hammers DI

David, my experience here at the Forza training camp was awesome.  I had a blast here at the camp.  I learned a lot of things that would not even think I would get to learn.  One of the things I learned well was learning how to touch the ball the correct way, instead of the incorrect way that I was doing it (getting my foot locked) you taught me the correct way and with a little practice I will get it.  You also taught me a lot if stuff, I can’t even think about.  Julian also helped me out with the physical things I needed like conditioning.  Both you and Julian though me a lot.

Luis Sanchez, 14 years old (San Antonio)

I just wanted to thank you, David and Julian, for training me and all the other kids. I learned a lot of things from the both of the coaches. I learned so much in just 5 days, like bouncing the tennis balls with our feet, and passing the ball hard, slow, low and high, pin point accuracy. The best thing I like from the whole five days was playing games. Next year I will like the come back for I could learn other different stuff.

Miguel Sanchez, 14 years old (San Antonio)

I like the soccer clinic because I learned a lot of things that before I did not know. I also like it because you are energetic. This soccer clinic is the best one I have ever attended. I would love to keep learning from you David.

Ivan J Ramos, 11 years old, Club Campestre, Celaya, Mexico

David thank you for helping me in learning soccer and hopefully next year you'll come to help me learn more because I am anxious to learn more technical skills, fake-out moves, tactical strategies for defense. I like way you were organized to control lots of kids. If you know of any other course for my age I would appreciate it if you would let me know via e-mail or normal.

Arturo Gaspar Mascarua Martinez, 10 years old, Club Campestre, Celaya Mexico

The thing that I liked the most out of this clinic is that it helps me and teaches me lots of technical skills. And even though they get after me I know that its because I did something wrong. Even though its something very strict I dont regret anything because it is all about my attitude and discipline towards the strictness. I liked one of the techniques and although it is hard I try and and know I've mastered it.... if I dont have discipline I dont have anything...

Alvaro Arriola Rivera, 12 years old, Club Campestre in Celaya, Mexico

I had a lot of fun and I have learned a lot from you.  Some of the stuff is hard but I will never quit.  I will keep on trying.  You are a very good teacher at soccer.  My dream is to be an awesome soccer player.

     Aeron Alvarez, Laredo, TX

Since I have been training with Forza, I have gained more confidence then I have been with my real team.  Also I have gained more soccer intelligence, my skills, tactics, and my speed.  I love all the drills you had us do no matter how hard it was.  Thank you for helping me, I would have never have learned about the tennis ball, how to balance or how to defend properly if I was with my other coach.  I hope I can train with you again so I can keep getting better and better.  I will always remember all the drills you taught us.

Alexis Puga, 14 years old, Corpus Christy

Angel Garza, 96 South Texas ODP, 12 anos, Nuevo Laredo, Mexico

Forza training has improved me when I touch the ball, when I pass and also my defense tactics will help me a lot in this week.  Thanks so much!

      Arturo Villalba, Laredo, TX

I liked the camp because we played 3-vs-3 games and 1-on-1 games. I had so much fun.  I learned recovering run and lots more things.  Thank you for coming from Austin to teach different techniques on how to approach the game.  I hope David and Forza comes again.

Carlos Naisir, 12 years old Laredo, TX

David, the camp was really cool!  I improved a lot.  I also like the 7-vs-7.  I also like when we did the tennis ball workout, I learned how to tap faster on the tennis balls.   Also when we went to Lins Grand Buffet.  Whe you were teaching us how to defend that will make me think every time I stepped up to defend against my opponent.  Thank you I hope I will see you again.

PS.  You are COOL!

Edgar Rodriguez, 12 years old, Liberty Soccer Club

Thanks to Coach Galindo I met David.  I loved the Forza Soccer Camp because I learned more about soccer with David.  I learned how to kick a tennis ball with David and Coach Galindo.  Thanks to David and Galindo, I learned what a soccer camp is about.  This is my first time I attended a soccer camp.  I like the soccer camp because you learn a lot about the game.  I wish Forza will running another camp soon.  Thank you David for the FUN I had.

Emily Zapata, 9 years old, Liberty Soccer Academy

I really enjoyed the Forza soccer camp at San Luis Rey Church.  I also enjoyed practicing what I learned.  The staff was very helpful when I asked to show me some of the different ways to move, kick and stop the ball.  I also learned to balance the ball on my foot, with my chest and off my knee; also to bounce it with my head.  The games that we played to show what we learned were very interesting and exciting.  I scored a goal in one of the practice games we played.  This proves that the soccer camp was a great success.  I wish I could attend another Forza camp in the future.

Evan Uribe, 8 years old, Laredo, TX

My experience was that in the Forza camp. I had fun and learned lots of new ways to control the ball.  All though he is very serious sometimes but he was a very good coach.  But the best part was that I played 3-vs-3.  I wish he could come again to train us.  Thank you Coach David!

Fernando G. Garcia Jr., Laredo, TX

Isabel Goldaracena Aguirre, 14 years old, San Luis Potosi, Mexico

I really enjoyed the camp.  I had a lot of fun but at the same time I learned so many things.  I can not wait for another Forza camp.  Every time I go to one of your camp my soccer skills improve.  The activities we do are very helpful and fun.  It was an honor for my family and me to be your host, for you to stay at our house for the week.  Thanks

Jorge Rocha, 12 years old, Liberty Soccer Club

   Dear David,

You are cool.  I learned a lot from your lesions.  I like it a lot and I hope to see you again and learn more from you.  If I become famous one day and become the best soccer player in the world thanks to you and I will remember you.  Thank you for a great week and I will try to behave to visit you in Austin for more training sessions.  Thanks

Jorge Zuniga, 9 years old, Laredo TX

The experience that I had these past four days is truly amazing.  I have learned so many new drills, and have enjoyed each and every one of them.  But the one thing that I really like about the camp was that Coach David pushes you to your limit, and makes you give 110% in all the exercises.  In all the 5 years I have been playing soccer,  I never had to work so hard to make sure every little detail was correct.

Another thing that has changed me as a player is “the attitude of a winner” as Coach David calls it.  Is that it might not happen as well as you expect the first try but with perseverance you can make it happen.  If I would have the opportunity to go to Forza I would because it is an unexplainable experience in the training sessions.  Yeah and David is COOL!

Karina Garcia, 14 years old, Laredo Heat FC

What I like about the camp was that I made a lot of new friends.  I learned many new things that I did not do with my own team at Liberty Soccer Club.  I also liked about the camp were the coaches David and Coach Galindo, because they are really fun and funny.  I mostly like when I was playing 3-vs-3 and 7-vs-7 because we applied what we learned in the camp.  We would do a lot of running, passing, shooting, and faking people out.

Mariana Avina, 11 years old, Liberty Soccer Club, Laredo TX

This is what I had to say about my Coach David and Forza.  He is nice and cool.  For my first day, I learned more than one month.  Those technical drills make you feel like if you running on air.  For me, Forza is awesome and David requires a lot of discipline and me and my family like it a lot.  My dad was wow this is a real coach; he does not get good kids.  No sir, he teaches them from new to all stars.  One of these days I want to be a part of the Forza team, Forza Champions.  One more thing, when you practice with Forza, don’t forget cleats, shin-guards, water and shirts tuck in.

     Miguel Ortega, Laredo TX

I had fun the whole week, but the training was pretty hard but I liked it a lot.  I hope we learn more new stuff tomorrow.  And I know that we are going to work even harder.  You are a great coach.

     Nicholas Garcia, Laredo, TX

I liked the Forza Campiones soccer camp because I am learning and it teaches me a lot.  I want to thank you David for teaching me a lot about the game that I need to know.   I also wan to thank the four coaches:  Brooke, Chepo, Hugo and Edgar.Thank you for helping me to become a better player.

PS.  Next time I go, I am taking all of my OREO Cookies, Just Kidding.

Efrain Galindo, AKA “O-MAN”, 13 years old, Liberty Soccer Club, Laredo, TX

Dear Coach David,

I have learned a lot for the past 2 days in Laredo.  The training is different and harder from the San Antonio camp, but it is still fun!  I improved on the trampoline and tennis balls activities since the first time I have done it in Austin.  I am ready to try other activities as well.  I should focus on my goals in order to achieve my dreams of becoming a professional one day.  I have a lot to learn and I am looking forward to it!

               Thank you,

Roxy Cruz, 96 South Texas ODP, 13 years old, 96 Millenium FC, San Antonio, TX

The camp was great!  I learned a lot of things I have not learned in years.  David motivated me to keep practicing the tennis ball was one of the things I liked a lot besides many other drills.  It is very challenging, but I do it until I get it right.  David is also very funny, but is also the best coach I have ever been with. He knows a lot about soccer and coaching.  He is patient too which is really helpful.  I would totally like to go to Forza again.  Ohh, David is a cool dude  J.

This would be my second time going to a a Forza Campiones soccer camp.  It was also the second time they came to Laredo Texas.  I was really excited because I learned new stuff.  I think this is what made my summer very fun.  David and the young coaches helped me out a lot.  They were very nice and have a  lot of talent and passion for the game.  I realized that I want to learned more and I would like to go to many more Forza Camps.  Oh and David is COOL!   Edgar, Hugo, Brooke and Chepo are AWESOME!

Tanya Reynoso, 14 years old, Laredo, TX

David Forza VIP Campiones,

David.

             Forza Thank you David!

     Jorge Garza, Laredo, TX

There are many things I like about training with Forza Campiones. My favorite thing being the fact that David pushes me to do my best and expect nothing but the best. He tells me when I’m doing well and get on me when I’m not playing well. On the field he is my teacher and always expects me to give it my all, off the field though we are all cool and he is my friend. The other thing I love about Forza is that he prepares you for soccer in the future. We do different exercises that help me develop the skills I need to one day maybe play College or Professional. David made me a way better soccer player and has opened my eyes to what soccer is all about.

Emil Gonzalvez, 15 years old, Austin, TX

From my experiences with David as a trainer and on a personal level he is one of the most down to earth guys. His love for soccer shows in pretty much everything he does, during training or on an off day chilling just watching soccer at home. As a trainer he has been more involved than any other trainers I had before, he does not make anyone do anything that he can't do himself.  But he also pushes his trainees by encouraging them and helping them with any problems they may have. He also gives his attention equally to all groups.  He makes sure that no one is left out and that everyone knows the drills and exercises.  They will be learning what is being taught. So from my point of view David is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced trainers I know of and his personality makes him a very easy guy to get along with and connect with on a personal level.

Jeffrey Leigh, 87 Sidekicks, US Air Force serving in Iraq

From the first time I met David, I knew it was going to be different from practices I was used to because of the atmosphere.  The very first time I bounced a tennis ball with my feet, it was with David.  I was horrible, the tennis ball was about a foot off the ground but as I practiced and practiced, after a while it was amazing. The tennis ball was so low I couldn’t believe it, the tennis ball technique was the main thing that increased the timing of my shooting and quick feet because of how fast you have to touch the ball.

Before coming to David, I thought that I was a pretty good soccer player.  I played all my life, but I was shocked by how much I needed to learn by watching David’s young player.  These little 6-8 years old were doing drills that were impossible for this age.  Older players I know could not even do some of the things these little ones were learning on a daily basis. In the beginning, I was learning the same things as these young ones, and they were better than me at many tasks.   Their first touch was incredible.

My dreams and aspiration is to become a professional soccer player.  David took me in and helped me to prepare in every aspect of the game so I could have a chance at the professional tryout.  I did not know when or how I would ever have an opportunity. But David assured me that when I am ready, then he will let me know.  I have heard many promises from many other coaches before, never thought that someone would actually come through for me.  David sat me and two other players down in a meeting and told us that we were ready.  David takes everything very personal, if he commits to something, he will see it through to the end!  He does this to all his players.  The reason why I said this is because, not only he prepared me for over a year and a half, got me the professional tryout, but he personally took us to Mexico to the tryout and oversee our progress.

During this past summer, 2009, David set up for us training with the Laredo heat, PDL(Professional Development League), to prepare us for the professional try out with the Tiburones de Veracruz, Mexico, division 2 team which was a very good experience for me, in order for me to compete with this guys I had to work my butt off every single day, which the first training session starts as early as 6AM  in the morning and sometimes we do not leave the facility until 9 PM.

Even though I did not know if the professional tryout opportunity will ever come.   I would still go to David, practice hard every single session.  Even after he was done with the sessions, I would still want to practice because I enjoyed it so much. He inspired me to achieve the impossible, to follow my dream, to believe in myself.  He instilled in me the passion and made me believe that I could achieve and accomplish my dreams with hard work and discipline.

David took us to HIT, High Intense Training, which is just as hard.  He said that we need to prepare physically.  Bret and the HIT staff were truly professional in their field. The first day I went I did alright, we did not do much running.  It was just an introduction to me and the others of what is ahead for us.  David told Bret and his staff what we needed and HIT created a program especially for us to help us.  When the real training started, I I almost threw up; but it wasn’t your regular workout.  We figured out real quick why the program is called High Intensity Training. It helped me improve in my endurance and my strength.  HIT is a great environment for any athlete that wants to improve in their personal athletic performance.

Practicing with David was an awesome experience because he allowed me to come in early and help train the little ones.  This is how I can help give back to the program, many senior players would come and help out with the younger ones, not just me.  This is the environment and the culture David created.  Throughout the past year, I got closer and closer to everyone in the Forza Campiones family, giving me another extended family. I got a chance to meet some of the Forza students that had been with David for the past 10 years.  These players are amazing, I got a chance to train with some of them, many are attending NCAA DI Universities on scholarships.  Others are on the US Youth National Team.  I am in my first semester of college now.  I am already looking forward to return to David and the Forza Campiones atmosphere to train with my little brothers and sisters.  I hope that one day in the near future, I will also achieve my long term goals like many of David’s senior players.  Even now in college, David set out a curriculum for me daily so I can continue to train and prepare for my next professional tryout.

Anyone who gets a chance to train with David better take it, yes it’s going to be a lot of hard work and determination but if you are discipline and want to achieve whatever goal you set, David will help you get where you need to be. While it’s intense it can also be fun. After about a year all the things I was not able to do before, I can perform these tasks twenty times better thanks to David.  I was determined to succeed every time I went to training.  I had a lot of catching up to do because I was a DII player in a small club when I came to David.  A year and a half later, I am tryout professionally.  Make sure you don’t get frustrated and give up, you need to give it time and you will definitely see the difference.  If you do not give up in yourself, David will never give up on you!  I am a perfect example.  I wish I would have met David when I was younger.  But it is never too late.  David is not just my trainer or coach, he is a part of my immediate family and a big brother to me.

Oh by the way, the tryout was for ten days in Mexico, hostile environment.  65 players tried out. 25 players made the team. I was one of a few players that were cut on the last day.  I was so close.  I will be back next season to try it again.

Everyone wants to win and become champions, but not everyone is ready to prepare to become Champions!

This summer when I thought I would be preparing for my dance classes, my parents came up with a new way for me to use my dancing feet.  Coach David prepared me for a different type of dance.  It involved coordination, balance, timing and many move.  Everyone was very nice espceially the young trainers and Brooke.  I appreciated they had the patience to teach me because I am more of a dancer.  I probably wasn’t that bad necause I came of a “soccer princess”.

David, your training can be easily described with one word, EXCELLENT.  You have great young coaches who helped you out, but most of all helped us all.  Your drills were fun and educational.  I learned something new every day.  The training helped me out a lot as an individual player.  It also helped me to always be on my toes.  You helped me learned to always look around and read the next plays.  I really appreciate all the work you put into this camp.

Pedro A Martinez, 96 South Texas ODP, Liberty Soccer Club, Laredo, TX

I learned many things at the Forza Campiones camp including better technique, stamina, and also got better at passing.  It was extremely fun there because if you make a mistake they won’t get mad at you, they will try even harder to help you get it right.  I thought it was awesome and as I already said it was really fun.  Coach David Dinh was really cool and helped us get better.  They young coaches were also really cool and also helped us.  I really want to thank Forza Campiones for giving all of us a chance to train with them.

In these past soccer practices, I liked many soccer techniques like balancing yourself on a board, passing two balls at the same time and the ladder exercises.  The coaches were cool and nice by correcting my mistakes.  It is very fun being at the Forza Campiones camp, especially when we scrimmage.

Sebastian Dias, 11 years old, Laredo, TX

I liked the Forza Campiones soccer camp because I learned more going to the camp.  Thank you for doing this camp and having great teachers.  Thank you for teaching the kids and having compassion.  Please keep teaching us!

Victor Gomez, 13 years old, Laredo, TX

Forza Campiones helped me from the first time I came, and Forza is still helping me get better and improve in soccer. Forza is fun and it helps you a lot, Forza teaches you a lot of things you can do anywhere with just a soccer ball and yourself. Practicing at Forza can really make a big change in the way you play on the field, but it takes a lot of practicing at home or anywhere that has enough space to use soccer ball.

The first time I practiced with coach David, he made me bounce a tennis ball with my feet. It took a while until I was able to do 5 bounces, but I kept practicing until I got better and it helped me a lot with my touches. FORZA CAMPIONES ROCKS

Special thanks to, Coach David Dinh for his time of teaching other great players and me, and of course to all the Forza families.

“FUTBOL  es  Vida!”,  “SOCCER  is  Life!”

        Sincerely

David Dihn is amazing!  Not only as a coach, but as a person and friend too.  He has taught me so much in the past year. I came from a soccer club where I felt I wasn’t developing enough in soccer. My goal was to develop my skills with a good soccer trainer for about a year, then play with The Dallas Texans. Not only did I want to play with this club, but I also wanted to make the 97 girls D1 team. After hearing my friend talk about her amazing experience with David Dihn, and how he developed her skills, I too wanted that same experience. So I started training with him and I immediately saw tremendous growth in my ball handling, agility, core strengthening, and strategy skills. Thanks to David Dihn I have fulfilled my goal and I am now on the 97 girls D1 team with The Dallas Texans. I continue to train with David Dihn, and as a result I am sharpening my skills even more.   I love working with someone who is so passionate about the sport, and it shows in every aspect of his training. Thanks David!!!
